The students, staff, and administration at Veterans Park Academy for the Arts welcome you to our website. We are confident that you will find the information on this site useful and that you will learn more about what makes VPAA a special place. 

At Veterans Park Academy for the Arts, we strive to provide every student an avenue to success through academics, creative and expressive arts, and athletics. We believe that each student has a gift to share and we work hard to provide our students with opportunities to work towards their highest potential. We strive to provide a school where students can grow and learn to be well rounded citizens and critical thinkers. We want to develop all of our students to become lifelong learners and future leaders.

At VPAA we have an amazing faculty and staff who put children first.  We believe that our students are individuals who learn in all different ways; therefore, we provide lessons to reach all types of learners with many opportunities to shine.

Our vision for Veterans Park Academy for the Arts is to be partners with families and the community to develop productive and creative global citizens. We want our students to view errors as opportunities, to ask questions, and to collaborate with peers.

The Florida Department of Education released results for the 2021 Spring Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) and End of Course (EOC) Exams. Scores were down statewide but the School District of Lee County mitigated those losses and lessened the impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

AlternativeLee Certified is the District’s alternate route to professional certification. Upon completion of the program, graduates have met state coursework requirements to become professionally certified teachers.
